Handmade Stoneware

Each piece is individually made by Myew-Ling from stoneware and is food safe. They are wheel thrown or hand built and then decorated with glazes or sgraffito (etching into underglaze). It is kiln fired twice or 3 times (for luster glazes).

Buying HandMade

Each piece is unique, and will have signs of being handmade and handpainted. Each piece will be different and small variations in design, form, colour and size are to be expected. For handpainted pieces the colour may not be completely uniform and you may see the actual brushwork. I sand the base of each piece however it may not be completely smooth or may have some residual minor markings from firing in the kiln. All measurements are approximate.

Care and Use

Handwashing is recommended although all pieces are dishwasher safe. The gold luster pieces cannot be put in the microwave as its 22K Gold.
